Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso was one of the most influential and prolific artists of the 20th century, known for constantly reinventing the way art could look and function. Born in 1881 in Málaga, Spain, Picasso showed extraordinary talent from a young age and went on to explore painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics over a career that spanned more than seven decades.

He co-founded Cubism with Georges Braque, breaking objects into fragmented forms that challenged traditional ideas of perspective and representation. From the emotional intensity of his Blue and Rose periods to groundbreaking works like Les Demoiselles d’Avignon and Guernica, Picasso used art as a powerful tool to explore identity, politics, and human experience.
