About Marcel Mouly

Born in Paris in 1918, Marcel Mouly studied under the legendary Fernand Léger and later became a close associate of Pablo Picasso — an influence clearly felt in his bold outlines and exuberant palette. Over a career spanning six decades, Mouly exhibited internationally and earned a devoted following among collectors drawn to his optimistic, life-affirming imagery. His works are held in private collections across Europe and North America. Mouly passed away in 2008, leaving behind a rich body of prints, paintings, and lithographs that continue to appreciate in value.
